A Tinder Match, a Metallica Aisle Walk, and the Most Heartfelt Timberlodge Wedding

Some love stories start with grand gestures… and some start with friends daring you to download Tinder. For these two, a “just for fun” joke turned into months of messages, late-night conversations, and eventually a first date at Just Pizza on Elmwood that neither of them knew would change their lives. From the second I met them, it made perfect sense: they’re that perfect mix of easy laughter, shared fandoms, and a love that feels both comfortable and electric.

A Ceremony with Marvel Magic & Metallica Strings

Timberlodge was the perfect backdrop—rustic beams, warm wood, and all the natural charm that fit their green, white, copper, and navy palette. Everything felt intentional, earthy, and modern all at once.

But what made their day truly theirs were the music moments. She walked down the aisle to a strings cover of Metallica—a quiet nod to her favorite genre, softened just enough to float beautifully across the ceremony space. It was emotional, bold, unexpected… and absolutely perfect. And then, in one of the best wedding exits I’ve ever seen, the two of them left the altar to “Hooked on a Feeling”straight from the Marvel soundtrack. Guests were smiling, laughing, cheering—it was such a joyful, cinematic moment that felt pulled from their own superhero story.

A Love Story That Feels Like Coming Home

Their first dance was to “Running Home to You” from The Flash—the same song Grant Gustin sings in the show when his character proposes. It’s heartfelt, intimate, and a total tear-jerker if you know the scene. Watching them sway together under the warm Timberlodge lights, it felt like time slowed down. Every look they shared said, this is home.

Rustic Details, Copper Tones & Pure Happiness

Their wedding style was the absolute sweetest blend of rustic and modern: lush greenery, soft whites, touches of copper and navy, and a setting that allowed the natural beauty of the venue to shine. It all came together in a way that felt authentically them—warm, grounded, and a bit woodsy with hints of personality everywhere.

A Day Full of Storytelling Moments

From the quiet emotion before the ceremony, to laughing with their bridal party under the trees, to the dance floor moments that felt straight out of a Marvel end-credit scene… every part of their day brought their story to life.

What started as a Tinder joke with friends turned into a forever kind of love. And being able to capture the day they finally said “I do” at Timberlodge was something I’ll never forget.
