Nestled along the quiet stretch of Back River Road in Scio, NY, this backyard wedding was the perfect blend of rustic charm, heartfelt moments, and laid-back fun. With the ceremony starting at 4:00 PM, the couple created an atmosphere that was equal parts romantic and relaxed—filled with yard games, laughter, and the love of family and friends.

One of the most memorable parts of the day was the stunning property, which featured a peaceful river (yes, we made the hike for those dreamy photos!), forest trails, and an old barn that brought the couple’s rustic wedding vision to life. Every detail was thoughtfully planned—from the groom suiting up in his military uniform, to the bride’s mom helping her into the dress, to their emotional first kiss at the end of the aisle (with the officiant kindly stepping aside for the perfect shot!).

The bride and groom made it clear they wanted their day to be full of candid moments, not just posed portraits—and that’s exactly what we captured.
